What Recruit Recap supports

Recruit Recap turns selected Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom meetings into transcripts, recruiting notes and custom write-ups using a visible opt-in bot. Recruiters review the drafts. ATS integrations are scoped on demand; direct telephone capture, bot-free recording and universal ATS write-back are not established capabilities. See the product workflow and candidate submittal scope.

General-purpose does not mean no recruiting features

The useful comparison is the configuration your agency will use, not a claim that broader meeting assistants cannot support recruiting. Fireflies documents ATS support. That still leaves practical questions about which records, fields and permissions your setup needs.

List the work outside recruiting that the agency also wants to capture: business development, internal meetings or project handoffs. A shared tool may simplify adoption. Then identify whether the same configuration can reliably produce the candidate introduction your clients expect, or whether a consultant must rewrite it after every screen.

Test a custom write-up end to end

Prepare a fictional client brief and screen containing one relevant achievement, an unclear availability date and a candidate question for the client. Require a short introduction plus a separate section for unresolved details.

In each product, show how the template is created, how it is reused and how a recruiter edits the output. Do not compare a default summary from one tool with a carefully configured template from the other. Include setup effort and ongoing review time in your own pilot record.

Prove the connector rather than counting logos

For Fireflies, check the current documentation for your specific ATS and the feature’s availability on the proposed plan. For Recruit Recap, obtain the on-demand integration scope. In both cases, test record matching, a failed transfer and a corrected note.

A copied paragraph, an attached transcript and a set of updated candidate fields are materially different handoffs. Choose the least complicated workflow that gives your team the records it needs. If Fireflies already meets your output and handoff requirements, a recruiting label alone is not a reason to replace it.

Pricing: compare the workflow you would buy

Use the current Recruit Recap pricing and request a quote or current plan details from Fireflies.ai. Compare the same number of users, billing period, capture requirements, storage and integration work. A free entry plan and a fully configured agency rollout are different scopes. This page does not claim that either product is cheaper.

Questions to resolve in the demo

  • Can a recruiter find the evidence for a sentence, correct it and share the approved version?
  • Which capture methods and output formats are included in the quoted plan?
  • What exactly reaches the ATS, and who handles a failed or incorrect transfer?
