What Recruit Recap supports

Recruit Recap turns selected Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom meetings into transcripts, recruiting notes and custom write-ups using a visible opt-in bot. Recruiters review the drafts. ATS integrations are scoped on demand; direct telephone capture, bot-free recording and universal ATS write-back are not established capabilities. See the product workflow and candidate submittal scope.

Start with your system of record

Adding a note taker and choosing an ATS are different purchasing decisions. For an existing Loxo customer, keeping meeting evidence with the candidate may remove an extra handoff. For an agency committed to another ATS, an evaluation should account for whether adopting the desired workflow changes that system.

Recruit Recap is not an ATS replacement. Its role is capturing selected meetings and producing recruiting notes and custom write-ups, with integration requirements agreed on demand. Do not treat an add-on tool and a platform purchase as equivalent line items without identifying the work included.

Test candidate identity and presentation

Create a fictional candidate with two conversations for the same opportunity. Ask how the second conversation is associated with the right record and how a recruiter corrects an incorrect association. Then produce the short introduction your client normally receives.

In Loxo, demonstrate the notetaker and submittal workflow together in the account and plan under consideration. In Recruit Recap, demonstrate the output format and proposed destination. Check whether an edit to the draft is reflected wherever the team will read the final version.

Compare total change, not only seat price

Document which users need access, what historical notes must remain available and whether other teams depend on the current ATS. Include any migration, configuration or additional subscription work in the decision.

If Loxo is already the agency’s system of record and its output fits the client requirement, a separate tool needs a concrete benefit to justify another step. If the existing ATS is staying, ask Recruit Recap to demonstrate the specific write-up improvement and handoff scope before committing. The better choice depends on the workflow you intend to keep.

Pricing: compare the workflow you would buy

Use the current Recruit Recap pricing and request a quote or current plan details from Loxo. Compare the same number of users, billing period, capture requirements, storage and integration work. A free entry plan and a fully configured agency rollout are different scopes. This page does not claim that either product is cheaper.

Questions to resolve in the demo

  • Can a recruiter find the evidence for a sentence, correct it and share the approved version?
  • Which capture methods and output formats are included in the quoted plan?
  • What exactly reaches the ATS, and who handles a failed or incorrect transfer?
