What Recruit Recap supports

Recruit Recap turns selected Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom meetings into transcripts, recruiting notes and custom write-ups using a visible opt-in bot. Recruiters review the drafts. ATS integrations are scoped on demand; direct telephone capture, bot-free recording and universal ATS write-back are not established capabilities. See the product workflow and candidate submittal scope.

Where the buying decision changes

A retained-search consultant and an internal hiring manager may read the same interview but need different outputs. The consultant needs a concise introduction tied to the client brief. The hiring manager may need evidence organized around interview competencies and earlier rounds. Decide which reader the purchase serves first.

For an agency that wants notes from a screen, hiring-manager conversation and panel to inform one candidate view, ask Metaview to demonstrate that sequence. For an agency standardizing its own introduction format, bring that format to a Recruit Recap demo. Neither choice removes the need to check whether a statement is supported.

A useful side-by-side trial

Use a fictional candidate who describes leading a project but does not provide a measured result. Supply the same client brief and require both tools to preserve that missing outcome. Then add a second conversation that corrects the candidate’s availability.

Inspect whether the revised information is easy to find and whether an older statement remains in the final write-up. If your workflow uses multiple interviews, confirm how records are joined and which source supports each detail. These are proposed evaluation steps, not results from our own product test.

What to settle before switching

Ask where notes, scorecards and client-facing summaries live. Demonstrate the exact candidate record, permissions and correction workflow in your ATS. An integration name alone does not establish that your custom fields or review process are covered.

If your current process already produces reliable client introductions, the reason to switch should be a demonstrated improvement in review effort or handoff. If the larger problem is interview planning and cross-round evidence, evaluate the broader platform scope before deciding that a narrower tool will be enough.

Pricing: compare the workflow you would buy

Use the current Recruit Recap pricing and request a quote or current plan details from Metaview. Compare the same number of users, billing period, capture requirements, storage and integration work. A free entry plan and a fully configured agency rollout are different scopes. This page does not claim that either product is cheaper.

Questions to resolve in the demo

  • Can a recruiter find the evidence for a sentence, correct it and share the approved version?
  • Which capture methods and output formats are included in the quoted plan?
  • What exactly reaches the ATS, and who handles a failed or incorrect transfer?
